Virtual Assistance 

In the traditional office, they are known as secretaries, administrative assistants, executive assistants or bookkeepers. In the on-line community, they are known as "Virtual Assistants". More experienced VAs may offer services including marketing, advertising, personnel management, quality control, business planning and purchasing.

A VA works from their own office and provide services to businesses, entrepreneurs, executives or very busy people. How can the work be accomplished when you are not sitting face to face? Well it is a different concept, but it works! The advantages benefit both the client and the VA. It is truly a win-win situation. The type of work that can be accomplished is as varied as your imagination. Work assignments are communicated through e-mail, phone, fax, mail, or diskette transfer.   • Bill Paying Services - A VA can organize bills, prepare checks, even balance the checkbook. Since writing checks can be a time consuming task, it should be a task delegated to a VA.
  • Event Planning - Business meetings… conferences… trade shows… there are a million details to attend to. A VA can send out invitations, receive RSVP's, order supplies, contract vendors, and prepare literature.
  • Reminder Services - A client should never miss an appointment, birthday or anniversary! A VA can even send the cards! This service can be used to remind clients when to pay bills, when project deadlines are due, when to make follow-up calls, etc.
